This is a series of articles:

In order to cope with the global environment, the automobile industry is continuously developing new technologies and steadily moving towards a sustainable direction.
I feel that the most exciting technological advancement at present is CASE (Connected, Autonomous, Shared/Service, Electric).

Mitsubishi Motors is a pioneer in electric vehicles and is promoting other technologies in the framework of the Renault-Nissan Alliance. There are currently a number of different models on the market offering some degree of electrification. The number of Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs) is the largest in terms of the current number of electric cars. However, only HEVs as electrification cars will not be enough to meet Global CO2 reduction requirements within the coming years.

Mitsubishi Motors currently offers two degrees of electrified cars, Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV) and Battery-EV (global first mass-produced i-MiEV).

Masahiko Takahashi, President Mitsubishi Motors Middle East and Africa.
