Lincoln electric Middle East and Africa has launched its brand new ‘solution centre’ in Dubai, the second in the region after Johannesburg.
The opening ceremony included speeches from Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) Head of Sales, Ebtesam Al Kaabi, Head of Sales, Jafza; Steve Hedlund, Executive Vice President, President, International Welding; Christos Tsiolis, Managing Director MEA; and Jim Mcilwrath, Technical Applications Director, MEA.
The event was very successful, with Lincoln Electric receiving fantastic feedback from a remarkable number of attendees from numerous countries, including
those in the GCC, USA, Europe and Africa.
Strategically positioned to guarantee the recognition of Lincoln Electric as the perfect welding and cutting solution provider in the Middle East, the newly developed Advanced Solution Centre in Dubai has been established in accordance with the goals of the 2025 Higher Standard strategy to highlight its solutions and value.
Demonstrating a complete solutions approach, taking into account local market needs, the Advanced Solution Centre will focus on new and innovative solutions/products and clearly define the company’s value proposition.
Furthermore, it will enable local sales organisations to drive business growth through key initiatives. Those key initiatives will always be aligned with targeting solutions and products that drive incremental sales. The additional revenue stream will be a part of Lincoln Electric’s budget and personal KPI’s of various employees down to the point of impact and will be measured using digital platforms.
“The fit-out of the showroom is well done and the Solution Centre is very impressive,” while Moid Khan, General Manager at Tarek Nasser Al Akeel, Saudi Arabia, concludes succinctly: “The Lincoln Electric MEA team is the golden team.”
Ahmed Alkhori, Head of Customer Service at Jafza.
