Daimler Commercial Vehicles Mena (DCV Mena) Offers a Comprehensive Portfolio of Daimler Trucks and Buses, Consisting of FUSO and Mercedes-benz Brand Vehicles. Established in 2001 as One of the First Companies in Jafza, It Is Equipped to Provide Customers With the Right Solutions and Right Vehicles for Every Application and Every Daily Transport Task.
The FUSO range mainly focuses on light and medium-duty trucks with some heavy-duty truck models. Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz Trucks focuses on medium and heavy trucks. The vehicles are used for all major applications such as distribution, long haulage, construction, oil and gas, waste management, extra heavy-duty or extreme off-road.
The most prominent Mercedes-Benz truck in the region is the Actros. The latest generation of Actros is the world’s first series-produced truck to have a partially automated assistance system. It can be ordered with the Active Brake Assist 5 which can perform emergency braking when approaching stationary and moving objects. ABA5 can also perform partial or full braking for moving pedestrians in certain conditions up to a vehicle speed of 50 km/h – which not only improves safety for the driver but also for others on the road. This system is exclusively available on Mercedes-Benz trucks and underlines the importance of safety systems for the brand.
“In Jafza, we also host the Mercedes- Benz Regional Logistics Centre (RLC),” explains Kay-Wolf Ahlden, President and CEO of DCV MENA, “which stocks tens of thousands of Mercedes-Benz Genuine Parts to distribute across the GCC, including Yemen, Iraq and Pakistan. From Jafza we also stock and distribute tens of thousands of parts out of the FUSO Regional Logistics Centre.”
DCV MENA attributes the popularity of its products to brand trust, proven reliability, and customer confidence in its business partners
“We produce vehicles that offer our customers cutting-edge technology and help them focus on their core business, as our dealers in the market take care of their needs with customised products and service solutions”

The Daimler product portfolio offers a wide range of products for all kinds of transport tasks. The products most commonly used for transportation in the F&B industry are the Canter from FUSO for short-distance distribution, as well as the new Actros from Mercedes-Benz for long haulage transportation. The Canter is the most popular product in the FUSO line-up. The word ‘Canter’ is synonymous with the light distribution segment and maintains leadership across several markets, including the UAE. The Canter stands for ergonomics and powerful performance, and it offers the lowest fuel consumption in its segment. The Actros has state-of- the-art safety features, like the Active Brake Assist 5, and MirrorCam, which replaces traditional external mirrors with cameras. It has the lowest total cost of ownership in its class,” Ahlden concludes.
The most prominent Mercedes-Benz truck in the region is the Actros, offering outstanding safety technology to its customers.
